CENTRAL COAST’S MOBILE VET
CENTRAL COAST’S MOBILE VET
Mobile Vet Service Areas on the Central Coast, NSW
Dr Tom covers the whole Central Coast from one ute, from Woy Woy to Doyalson and out through the valleys. Find your area below, or call and we’ll tell you straight away if we can get to you.

How our service area works
A mobile vet doesn’t have a front door, so a few things work differently. Here’s what to expect before you book.
One travel fee per visit
The travel fee is based on distance from our base and quoted when you book. If you have more than one animal, it’s still only charged once for the visit.
Same-day when we can
Same-day appointments are available. Call during opening hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, and we’ll tell you whether Tom can get to you today.
Far north or south?
The edges of the Coast aren’t a hard line. A little extra travel time and cost applies, and we’ll tell you the fee up front so there are no surprises.
Suburbs we visit across the Central Coast
Grouped by area so you can find yours quickly.
Gosford and the Peninsula
Suburban streets and hillside homes with plenty of anxious dogs who’d rather stay put.
Gosford, West Gosford, East Gosford, Point Clare, Kariong, Narara, Niagara Park, Wyoming, Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Ettalong Beach
Erina and the Coastal Strip
Beachside families and the semi-rural pockets behind them, including a few horses in Matcham and Holgate.
Erina, Terrigal, Wamberal, Avoca Beach, Kincumber, Green Point, Springfield, Matcham, Holgate, Saratoga
Tuggerah and Wyong
The middle of the Coast, from the lake edge across to Ourimbah and Lisarow.
Tuggerah, Wyong, Lisarow, Ourimbah, Berkeley Vale, Killarney Vale, The Entrance, Long Jetty, Watanobbi
Northern Lakes
Growing estates and lakeside homes. A little further from base, so book ahead where you can.
Lake Haven, Kanwal, Hamlyn Terrace, Wadalba, Warnervale, Gorokan, Toukley, Wyongah, San Remo, Doyalson
The Valleys and Plateau
Acreage country. Horses, cattle, sheep, goats and alpacas, plus the dogs and cats that come with them. Tom treats the lot in one visit.
Yarramalong, Dooralong, Jilliby, Somersby, Kulnura, Mangrove Mountain, Peats Ridge, Mount Elliot
Large Animal Services
Don’t See Your Suburb Listed?
This list isn’t every street we’ve been to. If you live on the Central Coast, chances are we can help. Call and we’ll confirm coverage and the travel fee on the spot.
The same care, whichever suburb you’re in
The ute carries a full pharmacy and diagnostic kit, so what Tom can do in Erina he can do in Doyalson.

Dr Tom is great. My crazy cat never lets strangers touch her, let alone give her a vaccination, without sedatives. He was great with her and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend :)+0Posted on Google![]()

As a corporate Senior Executive I never give reviews, until now. I cannot express my gratitude for the Vet on the Road staff. They were absolutely fantastic. Dr Tom, treated our dog Yogi with complete compassion and empathy in his final hour. Genuinely, if I had another pet, I would only ever use Dr Tom and the Pet on the Road team. Words cannot express how comforting Dr Tom was when we had to help our beautiful 16year old cavoodle Maya cross over the rainbow bridge last week. Tom was so compassionate and gave us time to say goodbye. What a gentle caring man. Thank you so much Tom for making our heartbreaking day a bit easier. We are truly grateful and blessed. With warm regards Michelle, Cliff and Taylah.+0Posted on Google![]()

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes. It’s based on how far you are from our base and we quote it when you book, so you know the total before Tom arrives. Multi-pet households pay the travel fee once per visit, not per animal.
How far north and south do you go?
We regularly visit from the Woy Woy Peninsula in the south to Doyalson and San Remo in the north, and inland through Yarramalong and Dooralong up to Mangrove Mountain and Kulnura. These aren’t hard boundaries. If you’re a little beyond them, call us. Extra travel time and cost may apply and we’ll quote it up front.
Can you see my dog and my horse in the same visit?
Yes. Tom treats dogs, cats and rabbits as well as horses, cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs and chickens. If everyone lives on the same property, he’ll see them all in one visit and you pay one travel fee.
Do you come to the Woy Woy Peninsula?
Yes. Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Ettalong Beach and the surrounding Peninsula suburbs are all within our regular area.
How do I book a visit to my suburb?
Call or text 0490 877 553, email admin@vetontheroad.com.au, or use the booking request form below. Tell us your suburb and we’ll confirm a time and the travel fee. We respond the same day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
